So you're looking for something that'll allow you to override the rulebook's constraints to set your own min/max level?

Would entering in the max points somewhere be useful too? That way it can report errors if you're over?

Well....  I would not call it overriding the restraints.....   you define the army selector multiplier. Lets say, we decide to play a battle with 2k min/max (which means army selector times 2)

but yeah, it would help to be able to determine the level too !! , so if it also allows to set the MAX at say 1750.

I meant the rulebook constraint that a 1.75k list is treated as a 1k for min/max purposes.

I'll see what I came come up with.

Technically, Dave, the rulebook does state that the maximum number of points is what matters, not the list size. It's been left out of the PDFs, but p127 of the hardcopy states:

Quote from: Size
...
You may find that you cannot use up every point, so your 2000 points army ends up as 1975 points, 1990 points, or some such odd amount. This doesn't matter. The important thing is you cannot pick an army woth more than the points value you have decided on. Although it's actual oints value might be slightly short, it is still considered to be a 2000 points army.
...
(Emphasis in the original)

I think it would make sense to include an editable multiplier, allowing a user to know whether or not the force is legal at X thousand points without having to finish the list to exactly that point first. This would also allow such situations as Lex describes to be dealt with fairly simply.

edit- Allowing a seperately entered max points would probably not be neccessary: I think most of us can figure that part out on our own!

Are you using IE? If so, I still haven't figured out a work around for it yet.

Hi Dave,

I've found two bugs:

- In the Egyptian list, if you choose the two upgrades for the General (Ramses and Chariot), appears a warning message that should not appear as you could have both upgrades without problem

- The second is more important. In WMA, all units able to Skirmish and without Armor save, do not count towards the Breakpoint. The exceptions are:

1- Armies with more skirmishers than not-skirmishers units: all the units count for the BP
2- Scyted chariots never count towards the BP

In the lists (not verified all, but yes some of them) the Army selector counts skirmishers without armor for the BP calculation. As the selector shows the BP value of your army, it would be nice the app could show it correctly.

I might have some time over the coming holidays to work on the bugs and add a list or two.

Yep. Honestly the biggest hold up is how long it takes to type the printed lists into a spreadsheet. If you want a specific list and have the time, create a spreadsheet of the army's selector table.

I can type the info in a excel or something you could copy paste and send it to you... or help in some way you want to... but have in mind I am a pc user, not a pro.

A spreadsheet. What you use Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice Calc to create.
