Cruiser prow balance and gap filling
« on: March 14, 2012, 08:19:44 AM »
I took down the weapon batteries on my mars battlecruiser to put together my oppressor class battlecruiser, (described in my other thread below, really just an overlord battle cruiser but all launch bays on the side hard points).  My problem here though is that I have a considerable gap between the fore launch bay and the prow, which isn't much of an issue I can fix that.  The real problem is that it throws off the balance on the front of the ship, with the launch bays being wider than the prow.  I could either add a small compartment between the two to help transition, though I don't know what I'd use, or I could cut down the last column on each of the fore launch bays.  Anyone have any other ideas or thoughts?

i wouldn't worry about it cause it looks ok to me
but if it bothers you, you could always add antennas pointing forward

To be honest I couldnt initialy figure out what was wrong if that gives you any indication of anything...
As we Imperials say, "The Emperor [class battleship] Protects..."

I appreciate the input.  I may look at adding a couple smaller antennas coming from it, if anything at all.

I wouldn't worry about doing anything with that space. once it's ainted that area will mostly fall into a shadow between all the high points.
Also you could put tiny pin pricks of white and create "windows" there like I did on all of my IN ships.
