I recently had my first game of BFG, and a number of questions arose:
1) When a command check is failed you may not make any other command checks for special orders. Does this mean you can't brace for impact anymore once a special order has failed in the movement phase? And when a leadership test is failed to target an enemy that's further away then another enemy in the shooting phase, does this count as a failed command check for the purpose of further special orders (i.e. brace for impact)?
2) If you fly through a torpedo template of an enemy during the movement phase, does this count as being hit by the torpedoes (i.e. just as if the torpedoes moved against the ship)?
3) Is it possible to move more then half your movement when burning retros? This is not specifically stated in the rules, but it seems rather counter intuitive. The reason for this was to make a turn before moving the obligatory 10cm for a cruiser.
4) Is the following interpretation of the turn sequence correct:
Player A moves
Player A shoots
Player B moves
Player B shoots
Player A&B do their ordnance phase together
Player A&B do their end phase together
5) If a torpedo template collides with a torpedo template of the enemy (or one of your own) during the ordnance phase, does anything happen?
6) If at any time a ship is hit and a blast marker is caused, that ship will have its next movement reduced by -5cm automatically, as per the "move through blast marker" rules, even if the blast marker is at the rear of the ship. Is this a correct interpretation of the rules?
7) Is it possible to shoot "through" one of your own ships? In other words: if the base of one of your other ships is exactly in between your ship and that of the enemy, is it still possible to target the enemy ship?
Seems rather straightforward questions, but I couldn't really find anything about them in the rule book. Any answers would be appreciated!
