I have been some amazed at some of the other things people have been doing and I realized that I have no where as much skill as many of the other painters that post on here, however I felt it was my turn to contribute to the wonderful community that we have created here. So without further ado...

My Orc and Goblin army so far...























All of these photos were taken in my very new "custom built" light box! Yay!

@ Azrael. Thanks! Yes the light box is helping a lot but I could not figure out how to get inclose without leaving a shadow over the mini. For some reason my zoom was not working while in Super Macro mode.  >< It must be some type of setting I don't know how to change, or at least I hope so as I specifically bought this camera to take these macro pictures.

I think I have resolved the issue of the yellowish light after reading this guys article on taking pictures of miniatures. Thought I would share it with you all it is great stuff... Hyun's article on Taking Better Photos of Your Miniatures which can be found on the website The Screaming Alpha. I highly recommend reading it.

I still haven't solved being able to get close to the miniature as zoom is unavailable in Super Macro mode and Macro mode (so far) is unable to focus on the subject. My only thoughts are maybe I could raise the miniature up to the level of the camera and avoid the camera casting a shadow my moving the lights around to better positions.
