I'd say brute force is very much GK. Remember they are willing to take out an entire world or kill thousands aboard a civilian ship to end the thread from a single daemon. That doesn't sound very surgical to me. Elite, yes, very much so in both their equipment and training, but surgical only when they want to be. I'm sure they have at least one or two BB hanging around just in case. Better to have it available and not need it than to say "shoot, we don't have anything big enough for that job." Commandeering IN and other Marine ships will only get you so far since their crews won't likely have the experience or training in dealing with the stuff the GK do.

Can I just add that I think these FAQs are pretty good so far, but they've got quite a number of spelling/grammatical errors in them. Its not really important in my eyes, but I hope Games Workshop doesn't doubt the quality of the work based on some oversights.
