Very nice!

I have experimented with several different colours and have concluded that graveyard earth is the best - enough colour to be noticed and to frame the stands but not so 'loud' it distracts the eye.

I must admit that with Dark Elves it would be interesting to see if a themed colour like darkish purple would work?

When that was posted my family and I were experiencing financial issues.
These have now been resolved, so it is half steam ahead for magnetising and buying my remaining araby units :)

Finished another unit of Cold One Knights. Photo is a bit darker, not as sunny in nottingham today  :D

I've done all green lizards so far....... i'm thinking about doing a unit with grey or blue lizards. Do you think blue/grey would look okay?

These look lovely.
I think alternate colours for the cold ones would look fine.
I know my  DE ones are mixed colours :)
In hindsight I think I would stick to one colour a unit though ;)

Yeah i prefer a single lizard colour for each unit as well.

I'm slowly changing my mind about the Cauldron of Blood, i think i'll do one evetually. But after i've finished my 2k list. I can't find a good model for the statue, i was tempted to use a 25/28mm demon and paint it gold. But it'll look too big.

At the moment i'm set on the demon figure from GW http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat490074a&prodId=prod1120167
Paint him to look like a statue, i'm thinking of moving his arm with the sword, so he's not got as much movement in the figure. Also maybe chop off the tail and put him on a plinth?

Whoa there.
That is an afront to Khaine.
Using a Slaanesh model for a shrine to the bloody handed one :( what next khorne and slaanesh armies stored in the same box ;)

I used an epic avatar and a cauldron I picked up from somewhere.
But it was one of the first armies/conversions I had done so it looks a bit dated now :(

If you imagine that demon without any pink paint covering it, the demon doesn't show any signs of being slannesh. Plus noone around here has a demon WM army, so i might get away with it  ;)

But i love that epic avatar. That's perfect. Those piles of skeletons are good as well, i assume they're from the undead general pack? ....if so i'm tempted to go 50/50 with a friend, he's planning on an undead army.
