After 8 years this year I finally found the missing colour pieces to this miniature. Now it is about 75-80% done. Yay

So.... I was looking for AdMech cruisers. But the 3D ones available just didn't look close enough and I decided to do something....eeeeeekkkk.... but I only allowed it since the original ones are no longer for sales and 2nd hand they are way to expensive.

So ordered this for a reasonable amount of little money:

ForgAworld... right. They didn't say that on the website. The cast is really good though. Certainly less bend then the original GW ones. Flash is minimal but attachments are large-flat-thin.

And they added 6 batteries, 6 launch bays, 6 lance batteries. yikey

*palpatine voice* goood, gooood. give in to the dark side

I convereted to recasts not long after the prices for second hand stabalised at daft high, inititally there was a few good deals out there as people were just abandoning their fleets.

There is some pretty decent ones out there.

Oh nooiii!

Looks pretty good to me. A bit brittle resin compared to other models but not much of an issue. The casting was clean with the exact same bend in the hull as the metal one have.

The Helios weapon modules look great on the admech ship. From know on mandatory.

And the blue Renegade fleet goes Mental afterall:

Back in the days I painted a Chaos fleet as renegades in a blue colour (see previous page). The fleet has an extensive background story. It was under command of Khurzon Reznard that their sector became quite prosperous. But some miscommunication and jealousy from some High Lords of the Imperium the sector went noodles and an intervention fleet was sent. Reznard never wanted to betray the Emperor but at that point he needed to defend his people. But the opening was there and the Lord of Trickery sneaked into Reznard's mind. During the battle the Imperium was to strong and Reznard fled with his fleet. For years he kept protecting humanity were he could. That was then....

...but now after I found my paint again and Tzeentch whispered many trickery things to Reznard his fleet started to fall towards the Chaos Trickery. At the end of the previous page you already saw the "Saint Leroux" as its captain turned into a full fledged sorceror and now we have the "Last Hope" succumbed to the warp entities and turned into a dreaded daemonship. Mwhuahaha

Some more:

Be prepared for more sorcery as Da'rells Wrath, Divine Messenger Heart of Da'rell and Frozen Sun are about to go nuts as well!

Nothing like a nice colorful demon ship!

I suspect my demon ship(s) will see a fair amount of the new Tesseract Glow paint.

PS. I did a blue Rogue Trader ship and was thinking about silver trim, but could not do it. Ended up with gold... :)
