Thanks Stormwind,

now is time for some classic warfare. Three more roman unit to the vault. Triarii from pendraken old range, and 2 legion/princeps from old glory. Finally a shot of my Roman Army. With this three additions I am rather satisfied with it, so I consider it finished, more or less 1000 pts.

Very Nice - they look the business for sure. These will make nice enemies for your Carthaginian army.

I am doing republican Romans in 28mm at the moment (as well as everything else on the painting table) but I have to admit the en masse  picture of 10mm is hard to beat. Imagine of you were doign shield transfer at that scale.

Good stuff - please do post more pictures.

cheers

Project: Kislev, Infantry warriors
Unit: 3rd warwagon

Just warming up for the Tale of warmaster painters for the next month. By the way, only one unit to finish project kislev, infantry warriors. I would like to finish it before starting the tale but not very confident about that.

Nice one :)

I like the option of snow with green grass. Cool spring bases. Time to go to war again :)

Great work on the warwagon - does look pretty cold which of course suits Kislev. Reminds me I need to get back to my 3 (yep 3) Empire war altars. Thanks for the update - please keep it up.
cheers

Thanks,

@Marell, thanks. I use a foam snow from vallejo very easy to apply.

@adamsg01 3 war altars ? wow, I thought you could only have one no matter how big is your army.

what are you going to do with three of them?

Hi Jchaos79,
Yeah only 1 per empire army but maybe I will have to do 3 armies :o)

Was really part of the deal I did with the Gent I bought them off of. He wasn't sure how he ended up with 3 either. Maybe I will paint up and sell off two and keep just the one, however, am focusing on finishing my High Elf for the moment, then onto empire maybe (esp the 2 steam tanks I haev as they look so cool - must be patient).

cheers

Empire Addicted has great ideas to make a sort of War wagon with the chariot of the waraltar. Other people use it for Coulderon of Blood or a sort of screaming bell

http://www.forum.specialist-arms.com/index.php?topic=4664.0

Picture of Empire addicted and colderon of blood are somewhere in the forum, sorry but I can't point to them

Thanks for the ideas Jchaos79. Got to say I am a bit put off wit starting given how much work there appears to be to get a war altar completed. Still I will be brave (just after I finish my High elves that is) :o)
cheers

It is less work than appears. Once you have glue the three WM bases, then it is quick. (Or at least I do not remember difficulties when I paint mine)

I think it's the first time i see the Nurgel Daemon Prince painted. I would have painted the tentacles in an other colour to subline them, but the result is very correct. A good old disgusting style :)
