Congrats on finishing your Kislev army there. They look absolutely fantastic and what a sight. Hope you get lots of opportunities to use them (and maybe win a few games too). Skaven look great too - that a lot of detail to paint and you have done a top job.

cheers

I complete my army for Alexandrian the Great, but also for Succesors.

It will be an interesting army (the succesor one). Having all the units that count for breakpoint in short frontage, the army became a very low breakpoing and very powerfull. It seems a must the Pyhrrus special which make the breakpoint a unit higher. Here is a picture of the army.

If I need inf light troops I will lend some Greek figures.

Now the new units one by one

Silver shields

Phalanx

Phalanx

Phalanx

Arab camel skirmisher

Elephants

Alexander protected his wounder father Philipo + Phyrrus

Now it is time to advance a little bit more in Bronze age Armies

First, Homeric Greek army:
Elen of Troy and Achilles in his chariot

Unit of Myceneaon Chariots

Trojan infantry

And a unit of Hittite infantry (it could be some allies of Trojans)

And finally for Fantasy setting a Kislev shaman

Wow! That's a lot of pike! Very effective and they really give the impression of the massed pike blocks.

You must get impaled regularly moving that lot around the table!

jaja thanks, not really impaled as they are GRE13 reference from Pendraken and the tip is not sharp.

http://www.forum.specialist-arms.com/index.php?topic=5535.0

But... when moving it is quite possible that the pike detached from the figure and that ... borke my heart.

Talking about Pendraken Grumbledook, I read somewhere in pendraken forum tha they sell 10mm armature for modelling. It is not in the catalogue but I think if you request to Leon or Dave they could sell it. I know you have a great technique creating them, but maybe could be interesting for you.

Someone on the forum with a very pretty High Elf army replaces all his spears with sewing needles.  :-X

My friend Mark did that for his 28mm Normans and they were vicious. =D

Very cool, I've got a real love for ancients since I got back into the hobby when I impulse bought some 6mm Achaemenids.

You must have quite a collection!

Great looking selection, lots of character and you've made some really nice command groups - I particularly like the band upgrade!

The picture is not good as I took it with my old telephone.

Anyway the most interesting issue for me of this unit is that I did not painted it alone, it is a cooperative painting effort (such a effort... an patience)
