Project: Kislev solo campaing add and odds phase I

Marker: Horse sacrifice marker

I wanted to build something not too much sophisticated to mark a ritual or a sacrifice. Because I had some spare partes of a horse from the triton unit I think it could work. The result is not great, but is bizarre enough to be ok by me.

Horses are very valuable for kislev and steppe people, so makes a good sacrifice for the spirits

Project: Dark elves, under the spell of Morathi the witch

Unit: 5ht of infantry, herd of slaves

Slaves of dark elves are from distant points of the world, from the deepest mines of the dwarves to the distant jungles of lustria or even raids in the heart of empire brings citizens to the dungeons. In some battles dark elves release slaves as herd conducted by executioners. The slaves fights for thier lives against dark elves' enemies. Fear makes them fanatics.

Project: Dark elves, under the spell of Morathi the witch

Character: Morathi the Witch

Morathi the Hag Sorceress is the mother of Malekith. She was the second wife of Aenarion who rescued her from a Slaaneshi warband in the days of the first Chaos invasion before The Sundering. She is also the first Hag queen of the Witch Elves. Morathi can be seen as the indirect cause of The Sundering as it was she who introduced the pleasure cults to Ulthuan.

PROJECT COMPLETE: Dark elves, under the spell of Morathi the witch

What do you count the slave units as?

I can't say I'm a fan of those Amazon sculpts- the proportions are just too excessive. I do like that they're much bigger than the other models though- it helps me think of them as being more like ogres.

Amazon scultps are not the best. For naked warrior woman Obelisk models has some beautifull ones, but the models I  bought some years ago are amazons, so I am going to use them. When I ran out my amazons then I would consider buy obelisk for sure!

Being slaves for different parts of the old world, could be ogres (good point), amazons, very tall girls for tribes from Naggaroth... all can happens.

About the unit, my first approach is "the unit represent infantry for a dark elf army" so the stats should be spearmen 3 / 3 / 5+   60pts.

If I need to go further in detail for a campaign game or scenario, I really like the concept "fear makes them fanatic". Also I would remove the armour because fanatic option do not usually have armour and also do not fit armour in the concept of slaves. (-15 pts)
At last as being a unit of non profesional soldiers could be treat as conscripts -1 attack -10pts

herd of slaves 2 / 3 /  0  special fanatic 35 pts

Project: Dux Bellorum, Umeya warriors

Units: 5th skirmish cavalry

For warmaster this is a unit with lots of uses, it fits in dark ages to Expansion of Islam armylist as Skirmish Cavalry. Also could fit medieval lists in crusade/sarracene armies as Turcopoles. At last, because islam world does not change the aspect could fit (a little bit forced, but fit) in a late medieval/renaissance as Anatolian Akincis.
Because they are based in long edge this cavalry do not have to much use for fantasy games.
But I also painted it for testing Dux Bellorum, a homemade list of Umeya. They represent 3 elements: 2 mounted javelinmen and a command with bodyguard.
