Thanks Geep, for telling the truth , werewolves and ghouls are painted without too much detail, and they were semi-naked so they were easy. Ethereal host... balck and white.  Zombies were also quite monochromatic. Therefore it is possible the fast painting.

I spent more time basing than painting :) It has been a good painting weekend (raining outside).
Happy Halloween.

Project: Poseidon and fishmen army

Unit: 1st group of mermaids

Mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide, including the Near East, Europe, Africa and Asia. The first stories appeared in ancient Assyria, in which the goddess Atargatis transformed herself into a mermaid out of shame for accidentally killing her human lover.

Ariel is the leader of the group. She is hungry today, so she sits on the rocks... and starts singing

Those mermaids won't be diving with flotation devices like those...  :P

Are you making your own rules for the fishmen?

Not at this point, I would use them as proxies. Pprobably as expansion of lizardmen army:

Fishmen warriors = lizardmen warriors
Crabs = lizardmen on cold ones
Sirens/mermaids = could go for a myhological greek game as a special rule or umpire unit
Lobster monster = also for special rule scenario or umpire unit.
Tritons = also for a mythological greek game as special rule or umpre unit. (not made yet)

Maybe if I made a solo campaign I could playtest some sort army as Critters of the sea, or Poseidon or something. Right know rules are not my priority, because those days I am not playing at all.

Does someone have any ideas about more type of units that could have an army like these?

very nice!  8)

very good work with Poseidon and the sirens.

An idea could be Fomori army. Use the Chaos army with the following proxies:

Fishmen warriors = barbarian warriors
Crabs = chaos knights
Sirens/mermaids = ogres (they fit well and they are known for the human flesh hunger ;))
Lobster monster = spawn
Tritons = chaos warriors??

Yep I like the fomori proxi army!

tirtons are horses with the tail of a fish, like the ones of Fontana de Trevi or the water horses that pull the wagon of Neptune in Madrid.  I was thinking of making a unit of cavalry so short edge. There are a sort of triton variant in medieval times that have human body... they are like a centaur but with the fish tail. I would try to make this critter the banner to mark the central stand. I do not know If I could do something with this idea, because it is a challange for me (with my scarce habilities of suculpting, but I will try). Anyway tritonsCould be chaos horse marauders.

Chaos warriors= ?? do not know... yet :)

Project: Kislev, Steppe reinforcement

Unit: 4th light cavalry, cossaks

Cossacks are horse raiders, feared through all kislev and part of the Empire by his ability using the sabre on horse back. As an old Tilean phrase says "Facing a charge of cossaks is as terrible as facing the devil!" and other Kislev phrase says "Drinking with cossacks is as terrible as drinking fire"

Project: Kislev, Steppe reinforcement

Unit: 5th light cavalry, Steppe people from Troll country border

This clan of steppe people lives in the border with Troll Country, therefore only the best fighters survives because they use to be raided by trolls several times a year. This artificial selection make this tribe of steppe people formidable warriors!

Project: Kislev, Steppe reinforcement

Unit: 5ht shock cavalry, Boyars from Praag

Boyars are the landed, social elite from Kislev. They are trainedto fight as heavy cavalry bodyguard. Magic protection and a combination of horses and bears make them powerful, and combined with rigorous practice of war, they are a very effective force indeed!

Project: Kislev, steppe reinforcement

Unit: 6th light cavalry, steppe people from northern wastes

Steppe people have a nomadic style of live, they live and die on their horses. The northern wastes has sources of food, mineral, and freedom, all that a nomad could wish.

Yeap, it is a little bit tricky because I just finish one per day, but It didn' meant I take bare metal and finished in one day. Also is a little tricky because they are not compelte units, they are made of 7 raiders so paint is very quick. Also I like the aesthetic of 7 raiders units and makes possible an army because the prices of ebay are now forbiden for me.

Project Kislev reinforcement is 6 units, and I have them partially based only the final snow touches (snow have two  different types of snow effects).

Project kislev infantry is about 6 units, one of them were the fishmen and militia (made with saxon figures) that is complete. I have two units half painted and three bare metal, so I would like to keep the high rate.

When finished these two project then 90% of kislev figures would be painted and I would consider army finsih  ;D ( I like to reserve some bare figures because you do not know what project would you have in the future)
