Those look great, I really must paint mine up (though I've been wondering if I might collect together the greatsword model to make a unit of them...). As for the tale of WM painters, thanks, I  enjoyed that too (the first one really). When the second one fizzled out I actually found it demotivating and my painting really slowed down (it's been rather quiet on here generally I suppose). When I've got a little more time for painting I'm thinking that it'd be fun to run another one although I was wondering about finding a couple of keen painters and taking the thread to either Warseer or TWF to try and spread the Warmaster love around a little (obviously posting here too).

Thanks azrael.... 1 maurader is enough for me  ;)

It is curious that marauders is a blister that makes me spend a lot of time and also feel specially difficult to paint. Always I paint this unit they stuck my pipeline of painting. Could be only coincidence, but...

Another almohade unit

I've always dreaded painting the marauders.  They have a lot of detail, and should be fun to paint as a result... but they're also the "chaff" units in the Chaos army.

Kind of odd to lavish more attention and time on them than on the Chaos warriors.

Oh yeah!

I painted up 4 units of Marauders myself and then decided I would pay someone else to paint up my other 4 they took so long to do!

I spent a long time doing 4 units of Marauder cavalry too.

The knights and the Chaos wearriors took half the time!

Thanks, marauders are a challange (in time anyway)

This is my first unit of my Christian kingdom army (same list as El Cid army) to fight against my increasing almohade army (same list as almoravid army).

The unit is a templar unit. Knights from Santiago order. They have the early cross of Santiago order instead the more popular evolution of the cross.

knights of Santiago military order of XII XIII century

Cross of santiago, evoluted, XV - XX century

This unit will be too in the bretonian army, of course  ;D

Very nice! Where are those miniatures from? Are those Magister Millitium?

Warmaster Ancients looks very interesting, sadly I lack a fellow player whos interested in ancient battles in my area.
Warmaster:
- Bretonia
- Dwarves
- Highelf WIP

Epic:
-Imperial Guard
-Necrons
-Space Marines WIP

Thanks for the feedback. The miniatures are from Pendraken, a highly competitive price 10mm manufacturer. I know, I know... the sculptor of the fantasy range is not the best of pendraken (neither their cavalries), but they have a wide range catalogue. They have 20 new references releases every month, so it is a very active firma.

I do not like the sculpt of Magister Millitum too much, but is only my personal opinion.

Maybe I will make a break in my araby style army and start a Viet Nam project. And still have in mind a warhammer 40k conversion to 10mm!.

Yep, nice minis. I like the way you painted the orange. Not too bright to make them look like clowns and still colourful. I hope I can copy this look to my empire army.
