Which base to use for fighters/bommers/assault boats?

OK so which base size you use for fighters/bombers/assault boats? I never liked the square shape of the fighter/bomber markers that came with the box, because they were different from regular oval base that other ships use. I also noticed thaty many players use the Epic infantry bases. But is there really any difference in term of game rules when you use epic, square or the regular 40k circle base? I would like to use the normal 40k base because it seems right but will there be any complications to the rules?

i use regular wh fantasy square bases, they work perfectly!

Well i think they will be perfect but it just feel right to use circural 40k base . I'm just wondering how it's gonna affect the rules...

I use the 20x20 mm square bases which makes them compatible to the markers as I don't own enough models to supply opponents who use the markers instead of the models.
