Secluded Port done:

I was hoping I could add some seagulls but did not find any good 10mm model or STL and I did not had the courage to sculpt them myself as I wanted to be done with this looong project. Maybe later ;)

As a bonus, the secluded port with some units to have some sense of proportions. Before you ask, no, those are not 4x2cm unit bases ;)

Agreed. So the bases are 60x20mm? What's your plan for those?

The bases are 80x40mm.

That's the Impetus basing, also compatible with DBA 3.0 fantasy as long as both armies are based that way.
There is no WM players where I live and WM is too complicated for my kids.
Since I have several other WM armies I figured I could as well rebase 2 of them ;)

BTW, I like that basing for the extra room, allowing more scenic bases.
For those interested, here are 2 armies based this way:

It definitely gives a mass of troops feel. It looks like you used roughly 6 strips per base? Three unbroken strips in the center and three other strips cut apart to either side of them? So, effectively a WM's unit's worth?

Yes, that's what I did for regular infantry.
Irregular formations required me to cut all mini loose: skinks, ellyrian riders, kroxigors, cold ones.
And I had to cut some mini loose to achieve the V-shaped formation for the silver helms.
In all cases 1 WM unit was enough to create a full unit, with some spare for most irregular units.

Oh I do love the look of those 80x40mm bases. The V formation for the cavalry is fantastic (reminds me of the wedge formation from Warhammer Historic so many years ago, think Alexander's companion cavalry). Don't think I'd be safe trying to slice and dice those 10mm figs to get that look. Do you still have all your fingers Vincent haha?
Reminds me of the Kings of War multi-basing approach just in tiny scale. Thanks for sharing your amazing work.
