drive back rolls
« on: March 27, 2018, 08:18:33 PM »
I kind of wanted to start a poll......

Who rolls the dice for the driveback?
the shooter?
the player being driven back?

I have seen it both ways, heard arguments both ways and the text does nothing to clarify  :/

Thank you all.

Hmmm... It's kind of an useless headache. It's a random result.

Hand who shakes the dices does not influence the results (despite all players can think) :)

So i would say "who cares ? But if a player WANT TO through his own dices for that, he just have to tell his openent at the begnning of the game".

I think the defender rolls them around here. Think that is. Can't seem to remember and it doesn't matter that much?

6s are confusion. That's bad for the defender, so as not to have the defender "waste a six" the shooter should roll.

How do you do with blunders based on that logic, Dave? :p

Uh oh, i might have opened a can of worms with this question. I mostly feel the same way as marell, it doesnt really matter who rolls.  I wonder if we could even get some text added to thw rulebook just to specify who and when. The blunder roll seems like the same as a misfire chart roll or even moving off the table chart. ;)
