What can people tell me about the TB line?
« on: October 20, 2016, 09:36:38 PM »
So eventually I'd like to get some TB line knights for a bretonnian force.  I was wondering if anyone else has used them.  The models looks great, my only worry they might be too cartoon-y.  Now all models that size are a little bit I suppose, but I worry perhaps these ones are too much?  I'd love to see some painted, or how they compare with other 10mm models.

I don't need my lead mountain to be any bigger, but, well, you know how that goes...

I don't own any but a friend bought them and told me that they are really good.

I doubt you will go wrong with that range

I've got loads of TB Arabs - they are lovely figures, if anything a little over detailed, which can mean a lot of painting. They are on the big side, more like the size of GW Empire cavalry, than GW Bretonian. Quite a lot of the cavalry are two part, either separate rider, or rider's body - this allows a bit more flexibility of poses, but does need more work to assemble

Lots of Knights

My whole army

TB Line figures are the horse archers closest to the camera, the archers at the front, and the knights and camels at the back, and the larger elephants nearer the camera.
Half the spearmen are GW (nearest the camera) the rest are Magister Militum.  The black powder weapons on the far side are Pendraken.

Thanks.

These are some more close up shots - unfortunately most are crops, rather than true close-ps, as for some reason I forgot to take proper close-up photos when I had all the figures out.

Beautiful! Those look great. I think if all the bretonnian proxies, those are my favorite I've seen.
