[BFG] Fleets in progress.
« on: June 06, 2016, 05:03:58 PM »
Hey, I am building a growing comunity here in Madrid of BFG.
So finally I had some motivation to start geting the things done.

After teaching my group of friend how to play I have started running demos. Witch means I need to have at least some 500 points fleets fully prepare. So here is the progress of the painting. It looks like This year I am really going to have something for a gothicomp aplication, (If there is gothicomp)

Imperial

Space marines

Saint Hann eldar

Orks

As well as always with me I am modelling some ships to add some flavour. here are some ships from the aditional ship compendium(Turbulent class and Phyton scout) and a little krozer in progress.

Thanks, let's see what you guys think of the progress.
Here is an update, I hope to finish the krozer by tomorrow. As well I have started a deadnot,  some figta bomberz And turrets.  In adition I would like to teach my students about tyranids, and I am refitting some ships and spores for the moment while glue was drying.
This time I am going to go ship by ship, not all together.

Here you got them If want more or any specific one just ask ;). Just one thing. The ship will look better after I add the turrets.

As well here you got the deadnot prow and some comparison of the tyranids ships I am preparing compared with the old versions.

Maybe a little bit massive, but nicely sculpted.

Thanks for the support  ;D

The deadnot is still not finished, but meanwhile I wanted to do something easier and faster to do.
I put some of my escorts, specially the ramship, as is the main inspiration.

And just for Gum_wum more photos of the litte krozer.

So finally I bought more blades so I can continue with the orks ships,

First the deadnot has stated dwarfing all the other ships.

Here is a comparison with my older version of a deadnot.

Secondly I have started an ork transport.

Finally I am experimenting with other ships, here is a humie ship's prow.

While I personally am not very much into the space piranha design for Ork ships, I absolutely HAVE to applaud your superb deadnot model.

Rather than a simpe upscaling of the existing design, it really looks like the functioning appliance of the official Ork design principle to a huge ship class. Far more so, in fact, than the official ship designs by GW for the named Ork Battleships.

You also managed to convey a really nice sense of scale with your detailing, I admire your handiwork.
