Since I have been traveling the past two weeks and I have a ton of Dropzone Commander I need to get ready for a demo event coming up next weekend I am probably going to have to take a pass on doing more Middle Earth this month.  However, I do want to come back to it in April and am not quite sure what in my backlog to paint next.  Below is a list of at least some of my 10mm Middle Earth backlog, so if you want to see me paint up any in particular and I'll take a stab at them!

Black Numenorians (all from Evil Men)
light armored infantry
cavalry
Chariots

Far Harad (Pendraken)
Infantry

Harad (Old Glory)
light cavalry
heavy cavalry
horse archers
infantry
archers

Gondor (Old Glory)
heavy cavalry
light cavalry
levies

Beornings (Copplestone)
3 in bear form/3 in humanoid form

Storm Giant (Copplestone)

And then a bunch of miscellaneous Cooplestone stuff, mainly the heroes I have not yet worked on.  Any preferences?

I was looking down the list - and actually all of them would be good.  Perhaps the evil men, as there haven't been many of them painted up yet.

Follow what inspires you! That's the only way to get stuff painted. =)

Hah, I wish it was that easy!  I do that where I can, but I also just have things I want to work through and doing things like painting motivation competitions are very helpful for doing that (at least personally).  I've been a part of one this past year that has allowed me to get through a lot of miniatures for many different games, companies and sizes.  Getting some input is just another way to find motivation as I do want to paint all of these, its just a matter of when and who first!

That's true.  I go through phases of bursts of productivity then not wanting to pick up a paintbrush.

I painted up 12 Black Numenorian Chariots this month.  They are from the Evil Men 10mm line.  Thinking I will do some ground troops for May.  I want to do some more Harad but I have been seriously ignoring the forces of good, so maybe some Gondorians will be coming.  We will see.

Delicious!

Do you have any Middle Earth battle report in a blog or somewhere?

No battle reports, but that is not a bad idea.

Btw, if any one reading this thread happens to be near Philadelphia and wants to play just let me know!
