I thought it was about time to start my own library thread, so here it is in its cut and paste glory:

First a picture of the whole Early Imperial Army, both partially painted and bare undercoat:



Some 'finished' skirmishers. Note that I do not intend to base the army until al the units are completed, to aid with basing consistency:


Now a couple of shots of my in-progress detail-ish painted unit of Legion. I am painting these individually on the coffee stirers that you can see at the back of the whole army shot, then glueing them onto bases when finished:





Here is a picture of the same unit in front, and my 'quick-paint' unit that I'm currently working on behind. It should give you a rough idea of difference in painting standards. I had wanted to paint the whole army to the same standard as the pure B&W unit, but I soon realised that if I did so I might never get a painted army onto the table...
