Hi,

Developed an own system based on mighty empires which works perfect. To be more flexible I made my own tiles.

You can See some pics at www.warimperator.de

holy cow that seems like an incredible amount of work.  Everything looks great!  I wish I was half that talented with everything.   LOL

I had been looking at pics online and found that most are just placing the tiles on a blue mat of sorts and "pretending" the coastal tiles.  rivers just end at the edge and are outlets to the ocean etc, etc.  I found a website that sells the vinyl mats with hex's of your size printed in white on them so once I am confident in playing a campaign game I will get that to help out with the fleets and the ocean voyages.  This same sight sells a lot of paper templates for making roman fleet battles and roman cities that look pretty good.  I will have to search again and get a link up.

As for deploying the fleets in the mighty empires games I was thinking about purchasing them just like any other points of troops but with that same special rule of owning a tile with woods,  you can build only one squadron of ships or one man o'war per every woods tile you own.  instead of one ship period.

Perhaps you can make this?

On a serious note; what Jurisch did seems like a great idea, just get a metal board and some magnetic sheet and make your campaign map that way and it can be easily stored...
I really would love to buy some Warmaster Kislev, Araby, Bretonnia, Vampire Counts, Chaos demons ...

Just received the expansion tiles sets (x3) and just primed them.  Almost time to rule the world!!!!

I have a map set up in the pic, there will be 2 chaos armies to the 3 dwarves.  just play testing to check out my small rule variations until my brother finishes his empire and elf army when we can do the 2 on 2 campaign with everything I have.

each of the heroes you see on the map represent a "banner"....I'm still hoping that I don't need an extra hero and the model on the map could be used on the battlefield but after a huge fight I hope I can remember where he goes back onto the map.

I have about 2500 points of dwarves and chaos,  I don't mind playing with the paper print outs glued to a hard paper board for some of the units when I need too.  When I played this out before with no real map or anything I found it to be rare to have more than a 2000 point army but the rules also max/min your armies per banner, I'm sticking with the 500 point minimum and 2000 max per the rules I have. the map contains cities and villages and a village can support a 2000 point army but any bigger I would say it couldn't so that all sounds fair.

The play test this weekend will be to see how fair it is to incorporate fleets from man o'war, I really hope it works out without too many rule changes.
