New Campaign and Eldar
« on: January 07, 2015, 10:20:16 PM »
So we are about to start a campaign with a lot of new players and up until yesterday all of the players were imperial or chaos. However we have two players wanting to join and they play eldar.

I have limited experience with BFG myself, but I have read that the Eldar can be pretty potent especially against inexperienced players? The players controlling them are pretty themselves, but I wanted to check whether there are any commonly accepted rules modifications for them. We are using FAQ 2010.

Something I have seen a few times is to simply change their Move-Shoot-Move order to Move-Move-Shoot?

Hey,
it is not a simple change from move shoot move to move move shoot. But it is the essence. And yes, Eldar MMS as it is commonly known has been adapted by quite a lot of people.

For starters you should try the official rules but if the group likes a change and better balance Eldar MMS should be tried.

In the fanmade BFG:revised documents you might encounter Eldar MMS has been used as well.
