What size battlefield do you usually play on?
« on: December 12, 2014, 05:06:10 AM »
And are there any good rollable plastic mats available?

The only rulebook I have says minimum 4 ft x 6 ft, but smaller with smaller points size battles. Just wondering if there's a standard at intro points costs? This one seems a bit small (?):

4x4 is the barest minimum to play on for BFG. 6x4 is pretty good for anything between 1000 and 2500 points.

I use a space-theme black felt 'mat'. It is approximately 4'x6'. For smaller battles I section off 2' for a 4'x4' playable area.
Bigger is better. If bigger wasn't better, then it wasn't big enough!

We're using a 6.5 x 5.5 foot slab of painted mdf. Works well for ~1000 pointers with some sensible terrain placement.
All ahead full. Ram them.
