The Taladrians first made contact with the Tau Empire in M41.997.89 During a midphase of Tau Expansion. Tensions arose quickly as expansion efforts by the Tau Empire Initially meet with some resistance due to territory disputes on the outlying border stations. This lead to some small but sporadic conflicts. The situation got worse when during a peace meeting on To'lo station (Nuetral station) 5 diplomats and 8 ambassadors from the Water caste and Taladrian council died mysteriously aboard the Niccasar frigate Ya'Mal. To both sides surprise This immediately lead to a joint Taladrian/Tau investigation into the matter, Without any reprisals. This would later prove to be the foundation that lead to the Taladrians bieng encorporated into the Tau Empire.
The Taladrian Conclave is small; just under a dozen systems under there control with 7 major planets inhabited. Otca bieng there main planet. Your average Taladrian is about the size of a normal human, Humanoid in appearance having distinct patterns on there skin. Taladrians have evolved from some Amphibious chain, although what exact path was taken is a mystery even to the Tau. Along with there appearance, Taladrians have some advanced weaponry. Namely the Proton Beam, a highly advance particle weapon.
