Yep, orange is nice. And painting job is ok. Will you enhance the global aspect (sand tone) with an other colour ? Turquoise or something flashy ?

The sand will be painted to match our desert tables so will not be just regular sand.

I've been away for a week now so hopefully when I get home I'll have loads of stuff in the mailbox. A whole ogre kingdoms army for starters    8)

Oh, I love seeing desert terrain!  I've was working on some but I need to get some new paint.

I got some of the Vallejo Desert Sand for it:

And some Fenris games resin rubble and Egyptian rubble to make smaller pieces.  In addition I got some old Warhammer forest tree branches, which make perfect 10mm dead trees.

Hmmmm interesting. It makes me think that a game in the desert, with dunes everywhere, would be a very special game.

- Bowmen could not shot frequently.
- Units could hide behind dunes, so charging should be hard.

A sort of guerilla game... There is something to do here, boys !

Ah yes I was looking in the wrong part of eBay then.

I had my eye on the above ones.  My thought was to get some Warhammer Khemri shields  and put them around the sides to give them a fantasy flavour.
