Creating more opportunities to play Warmaster.
« on: March 02, 2015, 03:45:52 PM »
Has anyone implemented a 'Planned-Renaissance' of Warmaster activity in their local gaming community?

If so, I'd like to learn from your experiences. What did you try, what worked,.....what didn't?

I guess the target 'audience' falls into two categories? Folks with armies who played before and newbies.

Thanks for your input.

Well, I'm not sure how to say this but - I planned to do it for my area, failed miserably to build two armies to fight with... Ended up being me merely talking about it and linking stuff that led to several others getting into it. =-P

My half based, unpainted armies of Chaos, dwarves and high elves were enough to get other people to paint up whole armies in the meantime.

People were used to Hail Caesar, Black Powder and Blitzkrieg Commander, all games that use rather similar command systems, which helped people get into it as well.
