Tyranid Vanguard Fleet

Has anybody tried this list? Normally I despise escorts, but the idea of putting 60 vanguard drones ships all with feeder tendrils just excites me. 5 units of 12 is exactly 1500 points. obviously the idea has flaws, but how bad are they?

I've used this list. It's pretty cool but you have to max those units out. I would recommend against leaning too heavily on the vanguard escorts for this list because they are just that much more easy to kill than kraken. If you are going to do mostly vanguard, I would lean very heavily on the feeder tendril variant because they instinctive behavior does not take them far from what you would control them to do otherwise. AAF them in and start feeding! I may have to playtest this at some point!
