Looking for a paint match
« on: March 18, 2015, 12:33:40 AM »
Hi, I bought this fleet off eBay, I'm wondering if anyone recognizes it and can help me find this metallic green colour. I don't believe it is a gw colour. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would try taking it to a hobby store and see if you or the guys behind the counter could match it up.

I took it into my local gw independent retailer and they couldn't match it up with anything p3 or gw. I just figured someone in this community might recognize the paint scheme.

I will have to travel down to Washington to see if i can find some Tamiya paint at one of the hobbytown usa stores.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Might be Testors. Hobytown USA in my area stocks that brand too.
Bigger is better. If bigger wasn't better, then it wasn't big enough!

I picked up some testors from another hobby shop. Custom metal flake green. Going to give it a try tonight. Hopefully it's the right one.
