1500 Point Tyranid List

So thinking about building tyranids after watching this video by afterimagedan

Never really played tyranids or against them. BUT Nids have great fluff, and now that the range is dead, I want to have IN, Chaos and probably do Nids, Dark Eldar and Orks custom built so I have enough to support the game in a group of friends single handedly.

Anyways here is my first attempt at a list. Any and all feedback appreciated-

So any inputs overall. I noticed afterimagedan didn't have any cruisers. Do people generally not take any? Are they just not worth the points in a tyranids list?

I like the list. That's how I use my hives though I upgrade to Ld9. I recommend making those 2 pyro kraken into claw kraken. Kraken seem to work best in 5s from what I have found. I do have a cruiser made from a Tyranid warrior in a similar way to kraken. It has all claw are from hormagaunt and warrior bits and I heated the tail so I could bend it and straighten it out.

I spotted it in your video. Paused it when you show the box full of everything at the beginning. The one thing I think I am going to do different is use deathspitters for the engines on it.

Would it be better to drop the pyro krakens for the LD 9 on the hiveships? Does instinctive behaviour play to the negative often?

The problem is I want to paint my fleet purple now too. Looks so good.
