Inspired by Nik Harwood excellent armies, I have done a Battle of Hydaspes 2mm mini-game.

You can play the battle in less of an hour, and it is really nice to see WM battles in this scale.

Porus couldn't use properly his elephants, cavalry and chariots due failed rolls in this battle report game, and that is fatal against Alexander... I have played the battle solo five times: three macedonian victories, one indian victory and one tie (Alexander army reached the BP but had more VP, so it was a tie).

Alexander III crosses the Hydaspes river, and charges against King Porus army.  The very last battle of Alexander is about to start... so... "Let's get ready to rumbleeeee!"

So small! They look great though. Even if the phalanx looks like a bundle of matches...  :P Always great to see WMA.

That hydaspe battle is really fun to play. I played it twice, being very different games and very quick. It is also awesome to spot rules questions.

2mm gives the sensation of a huge battle with small table and few units.

Macedonian list seems more competitive than indian.
