[EA] Bases

Hey there. I am wondering if there are ways to get the square 5's bases used for infantry in Epic Armageddon. From GW? From eBay?? Anybody have some they'd sell me? Thanks in advance,

eBay will have them, GW won't. How many are you after?

Looking for maybe 10 - 15, maybe less... see I base my rhinos on them too...

How many space marine bases per unit? I have the old Army Book and Battle Book but I don't have the main ruleset.

The number of bases depends on the type of formation. From memory Tacticals come in groups of six bases, assault in groups of four, terminators in fours... I'm pretty sure that you can download the rulebook from the GW website as a PDF.

I can check if I have 15 or so.

Those books are E40k I believe, which was pretty open when it came to formation size/composition. PW's numbers are from EA.

Are you basing plastic rhinos or the newer metal rhinos?  I've got some of the small Flames of War bases to mount my rhino chassis vehicles on, as well as my Eldar Falcon grav tanks.  I use the old square bases for smaller things like the metal SM and Eldar dreadnoughts and land speeders.

Stormwind, I have both the new metal rhinos and the old plastic ones.

Anyway, I should probably use FoW bases... but I love uniformity and if I'm basing my infantry on squares I want my dreads, speeders and tanks (except land-raiders) on them as well... figures I have to go liking something that's completely OOP. I believe it's 20mm x 20mm, so I could use plasticard, but there's a beveled edge that I want to maintain. Oh the joy of playing a near OOP game. 

The smart thing to do would be to make a mold of the bases... anybody try this out there?
