So a SM Cobra costs 5 points more........what benefit does it get besides looking snazzy next to a Battlebarge.

Higher leadership, +2 to the die roll in a boarding action, +1 to any hit and run attacks they carry out, -1 to any it and runs against them (hugh given the new rules on hit and runs and escorts), boarding torpedoes.
