I'm looking for the nearest analogue of old GW flock. Any ideas?
Maybe someone knows who was initial manufacturer of that stuff?

Umm GW still sells flock. Has something changed with it that make you not want it, other than all of their prices going through the roof  ::).

As I can see on GW site - they sell snow flock and various static grass only.

I picked up a big bag full of flock for use with model trains - a little big for 28mm figs , but I could (and should :-[ ) have got a finer version they had there was well.


Colour was a little bright, but you can either paint it, or do as I did, and leave it in the (sun)light to fade.

Woodland scenics makes a damn fine product. very fine and IMHO works just dandy for epic. hould be able to be found in any shop. i do not know how it stacks up with old GW however.
