[BFG] Scratchbuilt Transports

My attempt at some transports (because everyone else is  :P im a lemming. This is made outta junk from my work and a few bits, it has been hit with a shot of primer. Its comming in at right about the size of a frigate altho a bit rounder  ::). Bonus name those parts!  ;D







comments! Im not too sure about it, looking kinda plain but im planning on putting a snazzy paint job on it.

Like I said in Pembo's thread, the difference between a good BFG scratchbuild and a bad one is the detailing. The overall shape isn't too bad, but it's screaming for details! To start with I'd do some banding around the cylindrical section of the hull. I'd also build some fins or something on the sides of the rear.

For inspiration, just look at the shapes on other BFG models ;)

finally getting moved in to the new place a little bit and ive been jonesing for sometingto do so I shaved some launch bays to fit the curved hull and made it an escort carrier. I also added a ventral tail fin.

Paint! originally this was a lot brighter, but I thought it clashed a bit with my idea of a transport  ::) so I gave it a couple of grey washes to grit it up a bit.  All of the paints are custom creations mixed 50/50 w/water no metallics.
