Ramming ships exploding
« on: June 05, 2016, 06:07:37 PM »
Hi guys,
Its been a long time ;D, yesterday I iniciate a fella in BFG and we played a 500pts match Orks vs Chaos and we had an interesting question.

If a ship ramming another ship explotes where do you place blast markers, in contact with the rammed ship base or where the ship may have finished Its movement.

We placed the blast markers in contact with the rammed ship, but just in case. :o

During a ram, you are supposed to stop moving the ship, resolve the ram, and then (if the ship survives...) finish moving the ship.  Because the explosion was caused by the ram, the explosion would happen at the site of the ram, not where the ship finishes moving.  This is the same idea as a ship exploding after going on All Ahead Full through an Asteroid Field.  The ship explodes when it is in the field, not at the end of where its movement would have been.
