I added some cruisers, light crusiers, a Retribution and more escorts to our fleets and we gave them a go. :)

I enjoyed it very much, I learned some new rules to looking not only ever played once but thought torps die if they hit blast markers. It changes me whole outlook on torps now.

Yea, looks good.

I wanna comment some rule stuff, if you don't mind:

-As far as I know AAF does not half torpedo number.
-Battleships have to go 15cm before they may turn.
-Combining turrets does only work for ships in direkt base contakt. So in Imp turn 1 the cobra would just have 2 turrets not 3.
-When firing at ships in base contakt you may place the blast marker on both, and so redusing the shields of both ships (for example chaos turn 2)
-For combined torpedo salvos the ships have to be a sqadron. (Dauntlesses in Imp turn 2)
-Turrets can only fire at torpedos OR fighters/bombers i one turn. Not both.
- Ships on "Lock on" may not turn. (Chaos turn 3)
- You should check the suppressing turrets rule. (they do not actually reduce turret number.)

About the tactics:  Going direktly into the imperial fleet was brave. Selecting the retribution as first target even braver. But yeah it worked  8)

Placing the cobras alone against the Styx was perhaps too brave  ;)

Looking forward to the next video.

Again, nice game! Loking forward to the next one.
Just some kind of sad that you choose to play "the Bait". It's the most unbalanced scenario.

And ships on "lock on" still can not make any turns ;-)

Great stuff,
But as pointed out. rules still need a bit of reading.

For these two points± correct. Ordnance is not halved when using special orders except when using brace for impact.

And on the blastmarkers± that is as it is now indeed. However the original 1999 rules had it that you had to place blastmarkers in line of fire (fanning out left/right) and thus no fiddling to place them where you want.
Also, while blastmarkers do drop shields, they did not count as being all around back then. So when a blastmarker was on port side then shooting at starboard meant there was no intervening blastmarker causing a column shift.
It made the game more tactical in my opinion. And thus we still use the original rules regarding blastmarker placement.

Just caught at the end of the video that you play in Toronto. If you are looking for more opponents I am always game. I have played in about a decade and would need a bit of a refresher.
