10mm observation balloons
« on: March 11, 2015, 01:24:18 PM »
Hi there ,
This may not be the right place for the question .

Looking for a model to represent dwarf enginearing guild hero option to have hero in a balloon .

Spent time yesterday and only found two choices .

MM dwarf balloon
Kalistra Rat balloon
There us the obvious choice GW dwarf zeplins ( very costly ).
Does anyone know of other manufacturers that would be suitable ?.

Stuart

Pendraken airboat

I could guess it could be similar to Kallistra, but do not know. Anyway 15 pounds, it should be big!

And of course, do you have the cheap (but creativity) option of 1/144 plastic zeppelin model kit and paint convert it or add some plastic things to make it more "fantasy"

Something from this link perhaps?

No idea how big it is though.

You could get a Man O' War dwarf war balloon off eBay pretty cheaply (probably). The scale would be a little off, but probably not look too wrong.
