http://ordinarygaming.blogspot.com/Just wanted to let everyone know that I've begun making new counter sets for Warmaster Ancients, Medieval, and Fantasy. I made my last sets something like 12 years ago, and recently began hosting them again at my blog. I've made some changes since my old sets which make them a bit better looking and more flexible. (No stats, bolder font for my aging eyes, ect.) All sets are in PDF format made from TIF images.
Right now I've added new sets for
New Kingdom Egyptians, Assyrians, and Early Imperial Romans. I'm still working on sets for the enemies of Rome. I'll be adding other Ancients and Dark Ages as well as my fancy strikes, but I always like to do sets for both opponents. I also like to post sample 1,000 - 2,000 point army lists to help myself and others get up and running with the sets. (Unfortunately, I can't remember all the great gamers that came up with the lists.
)
I'm also working on new Warmaster Fantasy sets! In the works right now are
Kislev and
Araby sets, which should be posted pretty soon. I'm also going to tackle some of the Trial Armies, especially Nippon.
At my blog, as I mentioned in an older post, you can also find all my older Warmaster Fantasy sets for download.
If you look in the archive posts, I also have a photo article on printing the sets and mounting them on old Litko-like bases. I did this for my WMF Empire set since my son loves the Empire.
But those counters can get a bit expensive.
Well, I hope some of you find these useful.
BTW yes, I am finally getting around to playing Warmaster again. I'm debating between 10mm and 15mm, leaning toward the latter due to getting older.
Thanks,
BobW
