[WMA] - Iberan adventure

Augost 20th 844, arab gobernor of al-Ushbuna (Lisbon) informed that it had been spotted near the Tajo River 54 unknown longboats. The agressors land in the shore where they found the opposition of muslim militias and local garissons in three violent battles. The raid long 13 days. The pirates embark and continue their journey. At this time the Gobernor has warned to the emir Abd al-Rahman II (Abderraman II 822-852) in the capital Cordoba, form the presence of the nordmen. Therefore an edict was made hurring to all the gobernator of the seashore provinces to be alert.

This game is based in one of the violent battles carried out by the vikings and the local militia near Lisbon.

















Arab defender victories.

Thoughs
- It was a mini game, vikings only 2 unit with BP1 and Arab expansion list 3 unit BP2. (Norse 225pts vs Arab 280pts)
- It was fun and even with so scarce units you could feel the dark age flavour.
- It took 15 minutes but very intense battle.
- This battle represent a raid so a figure = a man,

Nice battle. Viking miniatures are from which manufacturer please? Especially command base.

What terrain is representing by yellow moss?

Hi Raia. Vikings are from old glory, I mix them with a few poses of pendraken saxons. Banner is pendraken sassanid  pendant cut off and glue on the old glory axe figure

About yellow mosh, it represent dense vegetation, treat as forest in terms of game. The dark green material was indeed the area of the terrain, yellow mosh was put on to give a nice loook.

By the way old glory vikins are great figures
