How to base an Empire Grand Theogonist War Altar
« on: October 06, 2014, 11:20:30 AM »

How would you base an Empire War Altar?
What base size?
I really would love to buy some Warmaster Kislev, Araby, Bretonnia, Vampire Counts, Chaos demons ...

I based mine on two 20mmx40mm bases joined together - one for the horses and the other for the war altar itself.

But it doesn't really matter what size of base you use as he's a character - I just measured from the Theogonist himself for the purpose of range.

I did similar, I used a 40x40mm base for the horses and another for the altar - this lets you put some of the marching guards alongside.

But I have never actually used it in a game of WM!

It is definitely the most model for the least points!!

Yeah it is a bit boring that a War Altar is just a unique chariot mount for a character with no special rules associated with considering it is even 1 pr. army only...
