[WM] Albion units
« on: August 04, 2015, 09:45:35 PM »
As I mentioned in the projects thread, I'm building an Albion army by supplementing my Ancient Germans with some specific fantasy troops. Here are a few of them, with the bases incomplete because I hate basing:

Druid and warhounds - Pendraken 'Merlin' character and Eureka hounds

Giant and ogres - Copplestone giant and "Picts" painted with suitably ancient-looking tattoos.

The latter I decided to use because I don't like the look of the GW "civilised" ogres and giant fighting alongside the more primitive Albion tribesmen. I think these are more in keeping with the aesthetic.

I like it. Would you add a pictures of your core troops?

As above.  Really good choice of Ogres to stay with the Albion theme.  I also like the blue!
"I cannot believe you when you say [your friend] has identical plastic boxes for his armies, all color coded [...] Don't you think that is being little obsessive?"
"Yes, but not enough to scare us wargamers."
