BFG Armada
« on: September 21, 2010, 10:59:08 AM »

I have just had a response from Andy regarding BFG Armada. It seems that this book sold out of the current stock, and based on past sales figures it would simply not be cost effective to go through another print run of the book.

So, it looks like that is done with.

Possibly good news:
You may have heard that GW is raising prices on a large number of their plastic kits, codices and rulebooks.
Armada is on this list (for a 24% price increase)
So either this was just a slip up by GW on a blanket price hike (unfortunately, more likely); or, hopefully, it might be going back into print.

I expect that is the fallback state/status on the sales system when inventory goes to 0 or near 0

There are also unconfirmed reports of various countries moving stock between each other to fulfill orders placed online. If the UK sell a load of Despoilers and the US sell none, it makes sense to take the UK orders, wait for it to die down, and then do a single shipment of stock from the US to the UK to dispatch.
