[BFG] Tau and Eldar WIP
« on: December 22, 2011, 11:57:45 PM »
I am fairly new to painting models and this is our first real attempt ;) It is still a work in progress, and it will most likely be a work in progress for quite some time.

Tau fleet is create by me. ( color scheme: Green/Reddisch )

Custodian

Emissary's

Whole fleet so far

Green Squad

Red Squad

Blue Squad or squad leaders

Emissary's

My Custodian was going to get a purplish color at the backside but seeing this picture's. I think I will change it. Also the backside of the custodian is not painted in the new color scheme.

Eldar Fleet: Created by Ghuda

Sweet, what kinda paint is that on the tau? Eldar look good too.
I don't make the rules, I just think them up and write them down.

Have to say I that seeing the color combo on the Eldar it really works. On paper it wouldnt seem to make you think that it'd "pop" like it does but yeah, very nice :)
What colors did you use?
As we Imperials say, "The Emperor [class battleship] Protects..."

I used orkhide shade as base color and used a mix of orkhide shade and bleached bone for the edges and for brushing. For the sails I used bleached bone (after a layer dheneb stone) and a gryphonne sepia wash. For the dots I used hawk turquoise.
