Basing - number of figs per stand

Hey folks,
Any recommendations on how to base my Army of Saladin?
I'm thinking 10 figs per base for infantry, 8 for archers, 4 for shock cav, 3 for scrub cav.
Ideas?

Hi Amnar,
It's sounds good to me the numbers of figures you are considering. I use a similiar guide but the definitive number depends of the figures themself.
For shock cavalry sometimes I base 4 knights in the middle stand and 3 knights in the other two stands. And then is easy to know who is the central stand without banner.
For mounted skirmishers I go for 3 horses in the middle and 2 horses in the other two stands. And looks good. Depends a lot of the figures you are using.
hope it helps
