This week I've been spending a fair amount of time messing with the smotherman ship building calculator, mostly to refine my IN light carrier, and battlecruiser carrier, but I'm still working on building my Space Marine fleet and decided to see if there was a reasonable form of a full cruiser I could include in my fleet (at least one anyway). I was inspired by the thread on the venerable battleship <a href="

I'm sure this isn't anywhere near a new idea but didn't see anything on it at first glance. I'm trying to find a good medium between the strike cruisers, and the full battle barges. Below are my initial thoughts, and I would love some input into what one might want from a full marine cruiser, and it's tactical role in the fleet. As this is for ultramarine fleet, it seems fitting they might still have some of the ancient pre-heresy ships.
(also, I was a bit confused by the armour points calculation sentence so this is likely inaccurate, please advise? "6+ armor and Space Marine rules has a final cost multiplier of x 1.45")
