New to bfg... thinking about a ad mech fleet

Good day!It's years since the idea of starting bfg came into my mind... and maybe i m on the road to fulfill this desire!

FIrst of all, the fleet i'd like to have... in one word: Cannons, I'd like to build a fleet based on cannons ( artillery or lances, it's the same..) with as fer supports as possible to play with some success..

Wich race shoud i chose? I was thinking about ad mech... is it viable? Or there are better fleets for my project... maybe chaos?

Help me plz 8(... i think the game is just too complex to understand all the mecanics in a glance

Ad Mech is viable, but because of the randomness of the upgrades it is an Advanced Level fleet to play. You could always start it out as a counts as Imperial Navy fleet, and then upgrade to Ad Mech when you feel more comfortable with the rules.
