Incunabilis Campaign
« on: November 25, 2010, 10:54:13 AM »
Greetings fellow Admirals,

Me and two friends (one of them is Monodominant) we’ll be running a BFG campaign.

The goals are, apart from having fun, to:
1. Run fluff orientated campaign
2. Test new ideas on ships and scenarios
3. Create fluff along the way
4. After all ideas are tested create a rules booklet, which will include tested vessels and scenarios in a fluff heavy environment

Here’s a brief summary of how it will work:
1. The campaign is map based
2. Players pick their armadas before the campaign starts (all capital ships and escort squadrons must be named) up to a limited number of points (4000) – this is what you have, and there will be no reinforcements.
2.a. – you don’t need to have a model for every ship in your armada, you just need ships for the battles you will be playing
3. Players can almost  freely challenge other players for battles or raids in control of planets. Battles are generally limited to 1500pts, raids to 750pts. All damage stays, ships destroyed can not be replaced. Players pick their lists before each battle from what is left.
4. Planets generate repair points, which can be used to repair damaged ships
5. A renown system is used, with some bonuses.

Who can take part:
1. Basically anybody
2. The main storyline will be played in Warsaw, Poland
3. Parallel storylines can be played anywhere in the world (I already know of some participants in other parts of Poland and in Greece), provided the participants will provide me with their armada lists, will designate the place of conflict and send me their battle reports or short summaries.

News, rules, reports etc. will be published on Cypra Probatii:
