Inquisitor Resources
« on: November 22, 2011, 01:59:02 AM »
I was recently reading the 'Hivequake at Newpitt' supplement and it mentioned another supplement that was used to play the campaign: the 'Character Creation and Advance System'. After a quick search on the ][nternet, I haven't seen anything more than references to this document, so I was wondering if anyone knew where to find it?

This goes for some other supplements as well: I have never been able to find the mythical 'Sons of Khaine' document, nor any of the other campaign books listed on Wikipedia.

If anyone could help in tracking these documents down, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thinking Stone.

Pretty much every Inquisitor article that GW published in electronic form can be found by visiting the Conclave;

Off the top of my head I'm not sure if that particular character creation article is in there, but even if it is I would suggest you not sure it. In my opinion (and that of most veteran players) it's far more fun to just give characters stats, skills and equipment that matches their background and model. Randomly generating a character can just lead to situations where a character's stats don't reflect his background, and it doesn't make things any more balanced or fair.

The Sons of Khaine article is definitely in there though, but the campaign books were never released as PDFs. The campaign books GW released were okay but nothing special, and most groups never played them because they rely on really specific NPCs that most people won't have (for example' not many people have the models for a room filled with naked cavorting cultists). But if you're looking for inspiration for campaigns then I'm sure I can point you in the direction of some useful resources.

The Conclave is by far the most active forum for Inquisitor, so if you are interested in the game then I'd urge you to join us there (although if you'd prefer to discuss the game here, then I'm also happy to do that).

Thanks Kaled (Dave)!
Sorry for the slow reply time, life has been busy!

I have perused the Conclave before, but not in great depth. I have some friends who have played Inquisitor far more than I, but I have always like the system and the feel of the game! Thank you for your invitation, too! I will join when I have a bit more free time....

My query was more concerned with a particular document that sounded like it had some interesting rules, but I presume the Conclave would be a good place to ask especially since it has living people.

Looking forward to being Conclaved,
