It's still a bit vague whether the Squats and Demiurg are the same. I think the upcoming T'au codex miiiiight shed some light on that if it mentions the Demiurg. Squats have been explicitly mentioned in the recent background (40k and Necromunda).

hell, I alway figured they were but thats an interesting point.
regardless, thats some lovely dwarven ship models crying out to be in space ;)
