Title: Tale of Warmaster Painters: November 2020
Post by: Apocolocyntosis on November 07, 2020, 09:32:51 PM
Hi all – not sure if I can just start the Nov thread (if not, feel free to delete, not sure of etiquette!)

Anyway, got 3 units of plague bearers done to accompany the circus worms from last month:

Plenty more ideas for this army, or at least army contingent (i think 2000pts of this would be too much), but time for a bit of a break for now!

Those are brilliant!  Where are the tent models from?

Cheers all,
Where are the tent models from?
Tents are sculpted in polymer clay over a core of scrunched up silver foil. One is based on the tent from the bret command pack (comparison below), the square one is inspired by the unreleased dwarf tent, and the middle one is … well, it's own 'thing'.

All other props are made from scratch – everything in the scene is GW, or fishing bait, or me, the mallet guy is a glitchling from the 40k boxed rogue trader boardgame, with the head from the tzeentch familiars in new style hero quest box.

Absolutely amazing - really creative stuff, I don't think I've ever seen a Warmaster project like this.
The closest thing is Elsmore's Epic diorama's.

As I mentioned in my Waaagh post, I've finished the Orcs and am now on to refreshing some old Dark Elves:

Plus I've been making some farms:
