Title: Tale of Warmaster Painters: August 2020
Post by: Stormwind on August 13, 2020, 11:07:51 AM: Yo I will be honest, I am so burned out on Warmaster I've started painting Lord of the Rings stuff, even though I have no one to play it with right now.

In any case I thought I'd post a new topic for us in case folks were chipping away at their projects!

My greatest fear is burning out in the middle of painting an army (and forgetting my 'recipes') as I did with my Dark Elves. I've now promised to get them to the table for another player in our group, so I'll line them up once the Orcs are done.

I've been finishing another 3 units of Goblin Chariots (pictures to follow) and then it's on to another 4 units of Goblin Wolf Riders :P

As I haven't got the camera out again yet, here's a shot from before our recent game of the general and some of his boys.

We've also been talking about playing an escalation campaign, and it looks like I'll need to use one of the forces of good to balance things out, so I have experimented with a stand of dwarf warriors, using micro-runes from Green Stuff world for their shields:
